Privacy & Cookies

TLDR

This is a small personal portfolio site. There's no advertising, and nothing collected here is sold to anyone. The site uses Google Analytics, but only if you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit; until then, nothing is tracked. Beyond that, the only information collected is what you choose to send through the contact form.

Information we collect

If you use the form on the Contact page, we collect the name, email address and message you enter. That's it: there's no account creation, no payment processing, and nothing collected just from browsing the site.

How we use it

Contact form submissions are used for one purpose: replying to you. They aren't added to a mailing list, shared with third parties for marketing, or used for anything beyond the conversation you started.

Third-party services

A few external services are involved in running this site:

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers contact form submissions by email. Your message passes through their servers to reach Bree's inbox.
• Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers to display the site's typefaces, which shares your IP address with Google when the page loads.
• Cloudflare hosts this site and provides its built-in Web Analytics, cookie-free, aggregated visit counts with no personal tracking, running regardless of the choice below.
• Google Analytics runs only if you accept it in the banner on your first visit, see Cookies below.
• unpkg.com serves a small script (model-viewer) used for the homepage's 3D studio view.
• Links to Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and email on the Contact page take you to those platforms directly, and their own privacy policies apply once you're there.

Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people read, roughly where from, and which pieces get looked at. There is no advertising on this site, and nothing collected here is sold to anyone.

Analytics only runs if you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit. Until you do, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent. If you accept, Google Analytics sets a few cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_*) to recognise repeat visits and avoid double-counting. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for breefraser.com, which will show the banner again on your next visit.

No account is created, no email or personal details are collected just from browsing, and nothing here is used for ad targeting or sold to third parties. The contact form sends your message and the email address you type straight to Bree's inbox to reply to. It isn't added to a mailing list or used for anything beyond that reply.

Data retention & security

Contact form messages live in Bree's own email inbox once delivered, kept for as long as she needs them, same as any other email. This site doesn't maintain a database of visitor or contact information.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, request it be corrected, or ask for a message you sent to be deleted. Email breefraserart@gmail.com and we'll sort it out.

Changes to this policy

If anything about how this site handles data changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
